American Express Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience is an official app by Taylor Swift, released through American Express on November 1, 2014 to the Android and Apple app stores. The app revolves around the song "Blank Space" off of Swift's fifth studio album, 1989. In the app, you can explore a 360° view of the "Blank Space" music video mansion, follow around different characters, and solve a puzzle for a secret surprise after the song is over! The app is no longer available for download unless the app has been previously downloaded.
Within the app, you have the option to watch the music video, enter the experience, watch "Blank Space" behind the scenes exclusives, or purchase 1989. The advertisement for the game was featured at the end of the music video for "Blank Space".
Tutorial[]
First key[]
To find the hidden message/ending, when the song starts, turn to the left and click on the radio. Turn the dial to the label reading "1989". This will unlock the first key. The clue for the next key is a polaroid of the mansion's piano, with a message reading "Cause you know I lovE the players, And you love the Game".
Second key[]
Following the clue from the previous key, click on the doors at the top of the stairs, which leads into the dining room. From there, click on the door on the opposite side of the room, then click on the door in the center of the room. Now, in the living room, click on the piano. Then, play the notes that were underlined in the polaroid in order, C, E, A, G. This will unlock the second key and the next hint, which is sheet music for "Blank Space", with the word 'write' crossed out and replaced with 'type' and a polaroid of a typewriter.
Third key[]
Exit out of the piano and next to it, click on the typewriter, and once again on the physical typewriter. Then, fill in the blanks and write "name". This unlocks the third key and the next hint, which is a picture of the desk in the hallway and a vase of roses.
Fourth key[]
To obtain the fourth key, exit the living room through the window doors on the opposite side of the room from the typewriter. Click on the counter with the vase of roses and click on the ripped picture pieces. Fit the ripped pieces together to unlock the fourth key and show the next hint, which features the organ hidden behind a wall.
Fifth key[]
Head back to the dining room and click on the empty wall on the opposite side as the fireplace. Move the wall to the side and click on the organ. Click on the lyric buttons in order, 'Magic', 'Madness', 'Heaven', 'Sin'. This will unlock the fifth key and the final hint, which is a polaroid of a chair with a music box on it.
Sixth key[]
To get the final key, go to the room to the left of the empty wall with curtains covering the doorway. In this painting room, click on the chair with the music box. This will open the music box and present a key with 'Radio 1989' written on it.

Go back to the opening stairwell by clicking on the darkest doorway in the same painting room. Click on the radio, and it will unlock the hidden message, which features a video of Taylor Swift getting her first bike.
