Swift performed "Cowboy Like Me" for the first time as a surprise song on The Eras Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 25, 2023. Marcus Mumford, who provided backing vocals on the original track, joined Swift onstage to perform the song with her. It was performed as a surprise song a second time on March 9, 2024, in Singapore, as part of a mashup with "Tim McGraw".
