Ellen Lee DeGeneres (born January 26, 1958) is an American comedian, actress, and Emmy Award-winning talk show host who has hosted The Ellen DeGeneres Show since it debuted in 2003. She is also a close friend of Taylor Swift's. Taylor has been on the Ellen show ever since the beginning of her career, as a guest. She did interviews in all of her eras except for reputation, and those that followed. Taylor did not do any interviews during that time.
Ellen joined Taylor on stage during the 1989 World Tour as a surprise guest during the song "Style". She walked out wearing a sparkly zip-up jacket, a shiny tutu and silver tights. The jacket was supposed to look like Taylor's dress.
