Lover Fest was a planned sixth worldwide concert tour by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The tour was announced in support of Swift's seventh studio album, Lover (2019).
The tour was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was later announced canceled.
Background[]
On September 17, 2019, the tour dates were released on Swift's official website. 8 of the dates are at pre-organized festivals and 5 US dates titled Lover Fest West and Lover Fest East in stadiums. It was also announced that more dates for the UK and internationally would be revealed soon.
Covid-19 delay[]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Taylor has postponed the Lover Fest. She sent out a message on social media reading,[1]
“ | I'm so sad I won't be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision. Please, please stay healthy and safe. I'll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what's important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us. | ” |
The message states that the Brazil and U.S. dates are scheduled to resume in 2021, with new dates still to be decided. Also, starting May 1st, Ticketmaster will offer refunds for tickets to Lover Fest.

In early 2021, Taylor announced that she would no longer be rescheduling concert dates.
Stage[]
When the tickets went on sale for the US show dates, a stage design was unintentionally leaked by Ticketmaster, as well as a scrapped stage for the SoFi Stadium shows. It featured a 360° heart-shaped stage in the middle of the venue. The scrapped stage design was a mix between the 1989 World Tour and Reputation Stadium Tour stages.
