Swift attended the event wearing a Gucci dress, Louboutin heels, and jewelry by De Beers. During the ceremony, Swift was seated next to Keleigh Teller. A talked-about moment of the night occurred when host Jo Koy made a joke in his opening monologue about the camera's focus on Swift during NFL games due to her attendance in support of boyfriend Travis Kelce. "The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift." Swift did not react, having a straight face and sipping her wine. Koy later explained that the joke was meant to be a jab at the NFL, but the presentation of the joke made it seem to be one against Swift.[1] During the remainder of the ceremony, Swift met up with Selena Gomez and Bill Haider. Gomez later came over to Swift and Teller's table to chat.
