Little Big Town is an American country music vocal group from Homewood, Alabama. Founded in 1998, the group has had the same four members since its founding: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman (formerly Roads), Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook. Their musical style relies heavily on four-part vocal harmonies, with all four members alternating as lead vocalists.[1][2]
Relation to Taylor Swift[]
Taylor Swift invited Little Big Town to do a surprise performance on June 6, 2015 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the 1989 World Tour, performing their song "Pontoon".
"Better Man" was written by Taylor Swift for her her fourth studio album, Red, but Swift decided against including it on the album. She gave the song to Little Big Town to include as the lead single for their eighth studio album, The Breaker, released in 2017. Swift later recorded her version of the song for her 2021 re-recorded album Red (Taylor's Version).
