Matthew Timothy “Matty” Healy (born April 8, 1989) is the frontman for the band The 1975. He allegedly dated Taylor Swift from May to June of 2023. Many songs on The Tortured Poets Department, such as "But Daddy I Love Him", "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)", and "Down Bad", are rumored to be about him.

Taylor attended a concert for The 1975 with Karlie Kloss on December 4, 2014. Taylor also performed "Anti-Hero" and a cover of their song "The City" during their concert in London as a surprise guest on their tour, The 1975 at Their Very Best.
