Background[]
The song is most likely inspired by Swift's relationship with Harry Styles. It's about falling in love with someone and the helplessness that can accompany that feeling.
It was written on the same day as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"[1]. Some have theorized that it was originally cut from Red (2012) because of its overtly pop-inspired sound.
