"Nashville" is an unreleased song by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
Background[]
There is an unreleased 2004 acoustic demo recording of the song owned by Sony (as they own many of Swift's early unreleased demos), but there is also rumored to be a recording of her performing it at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. This is not the same as Swift's cover version of "Nashville" by American Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter David Mead which Taylor did release as a DVD bonus on her Speak Now: World Tour Live album.[1][2] This is a separate original Taylor song also called "Nashville".[3] The song is also rumoured to be recorded for Fearless and Speak Now.
Lyrics[]
[Snippet]
What about the girl you left in Nashville, the one who still loves you?
I hope you come to find you were all I had in mind
You were everything I loved about Nashville
